Ely Wood was born on March 17, 2073, in a small rural community within Pärnumaa, in the heart of the Republic of Pärnu. Growing up surrounded by nature, Ely developed a deep appreciation for the environment and a strong belief in the importance of preserving it. 

Ely's parents were farmers, and from an early age, she witnessed the delicate balance between nature and human activity, which profoundly influenced her later political beliefs. 

 Ely excelled academically and was passionate about both science and activism. After completing her secondary education, she pursued a degree in Environmental Science at the University of Tartu. During her time at university, Ely became an active member of the student-led environmental movement. 

She organized protests, lobbied for sustainable farming policies, and worked on local conservation projects. Her leadership abilities quickly became evident, and she was soon recognized as one of the most prominent voices in the environmental community. After graduating with honors, Ely began working as a researcher for a prominent environmental organization. She spent several years advocating for sustainable practices within the agricultural and industrial sectors of Pärnu, traveling across the nation to speak at conferences and build partnerships with local and international environmental groups.

Her passion for the cause and her pragmatic approach gained her respect among environmentalists and policymakers alike. In 2090, Ely decided to formally enter politics, joining the newly formed Green Party, known as the "Vihreä" party. The Green Party was a small but growing force in Pärnu's political landscape, focusing on environmental protection, social equality, and sustainable development. Ely quickly rose through the ranks due to her charisma and dedication. By 2095, she became the party's spokesperson, leading successful campaigns to push for stricter environmental regulations and renewable energy initiatives.  

 As Pärnu underwent political changes, including the transition from a parliamentary republic to a socialist state under Aino Rebane's leadership, Ely remained a consistent advocate for ecological responsibility. Even as the Konnak party consolidated power and the communist government solidified its influence, Ely maintained a nonpartisan stance, always emphasizing the need for green policies regardless of political alignment. Ely’s dedication to environmental and social causes resonated deeply with a growing number of citizens who were concerned about the impact of industrialization on Pärnu’s natural landscapes. 

Her platform focused on transitioning Pärnu into a green economy, ensuring that economic growth would not come at the cost of environmental degradation. She argued that sustainable farming, clean energy, and green technology were the future of Pärnu's prosperity. After serving as a Green Party representative in Pärnu’s parliament for several terms, Ely continued to gain popularity. Her calm demeanor and forward-thinking policies stood in contrast to the long-standing leadership of Prime Minister Aino Rebane, who had been in power for three decades. While Rebane had led the country through significant transitions, many felt that it was time for a new direction, one that focused on sustainability and the next generation's future. 

In the 2105 snap election, the call for change became undeniable. The Green Party, under Ely Wood’s leadership, campaigned on a platform of environmental reform, social justice, and political transparency. Ely promised to rejuvenate Pärnu’s economy by investing in green technology, protect its natural resources, and involve citizens more directly in decision-making processes. Her message resonated with voters who were weary of the status quo, and the election results were a decisive victory for Ely and the Green Party. 

Ely Wood now stands as the newly elected Prime Minister of Pärnu, marking a significant shift in the nation’s political landscape. Her victory not only represents a move toward greener policies but also a broader desire for social reform and a more inclusive government. Ely’s leadership will likely be defined by her commitment to sustainability, her passion for environmental justice, and her vision for a thriving, green Pärnu.
